What the green “Checked by the Passerelle” badge means, how a company gets it, and how to check that it is not copied.

The “Checked by the Passerelle” badge

  • The badge means only one thing: we found this company in the official register of its country (in France: the SIREN or SIRET number), and it is active.
  • It does not mean the company is “the best”, nor that we guarantee its products.
  • It is free and the same for every company, whether or not it buys options. It cannot be bought.
  • It is removed if the company closes, if its information becomes false, or after a serious, proven disagreement.

How do I know it is real?

A badge is only a picture: anyone can copy it. The only real badge is the one on the company's listing, here, on our site. If in doubt, look for the company in our directory. If it is not there, the badge is fake: please tell us.
